Shakman “Agreed Settlement Order and Accord”

On March 21, 2007, the City of Chicago and the Plaintiffs submitted to the Court a proposed "Agreed Settlement Order and Accord." Judge Andersen preliminarily approved the Agreed Settlement Order and Accord. On April 11, 2007, the City Council also approved the Agreement.

On May 31, 2007 the Court held a “fairness” hearing and entered the Agreed Settlement Order and Accord.
